1917: From Sosa Hill looking down on first half of Tavernilla St. as it comes up from the Clubhouse. Large section of Balboa Flats in view and St. Mary's Church is up. Below St. Mary's can be seen the Balboa Restaurant which later became the Police Station.  Beyond that is the first formal Balboa Base Ball Park.
